On the other hand, Sierra Leone have moved 30 places up following the win, the improvement largely propelled by beating Kenya who were initially placed higher than them. The West African nation sits just above Kenya at position 83.

Uganda leads the East African nations at position 74, followed by Kenya and Tanzania. Harambee Stars is ranked at position 18 in Africa as Egypt retains its lead continentally despite dropping four places globally to position 24.

World champions Germany have gone top of the standings after their Confederations Cup triumph with Brazil coming in at 2nd place. Argentina, Portugal and Switzerland wrap up the top 5 in that order.
